FrontLine Gains Ground in Baseball Ticketing Market

WAYNE, PA, April 14, 2004 – The Gateway Grizzlies and the Florence Freedom are the latest teams in the Frontier League to purchase FrontLine Solutions' TicketManager, a ticketing and management system powered by FrontLine that provides an easy-to-use, integrated software solution designed for independent and minor league teams.

The Grizzlies, of Sauget, IL, and the Freedom, of Florence, KY, join the Frontier League’s Washington Wild Things, of Washington, PA, in utilizing TicketManager for a more cost effective, user friendly, single source method for selling tickets, marketing and financial data, invoicing, pro shop retail sales, concession sales, and for an optional internet sales component.

“We have selected TicketManager because it is designed to address the specific tasks of minor and independent league baseball administration and operations,” said Tony Funderburg, General Manger of the Grizzlies. “Because minor and independent league baseball are so price sensitive and family oriented, the affordable, one-time capital cost for the TicketManager system will allow us to invest in other fan and team areas.”

Todd Browning, General Manager of FrontLine Solutions, said the Frontier League and FrontLine Solutions have entered into an agreement that will make it easier for the independent professional baseball league’s 12 teams to acquire the TicketManager system for use at their ball parks.
